We Invite You to Worship With Us!
The worship of God is at the center of our community at St. Mark’s, reflecting our desire to live faithfully through service, prayer, advocacy, accompaniment, witness and a hospitality that welcomes everyone. Sunday worship is held weekly at 10:30 a.m. in the main sanctuary and includes traditional, contemporary and innovative elements in liturgy, music and visual arts. Worship at St. Mark’s is participatory, with members, friends, youth and children co-creating the experience by sharing their gifts and talents in a variety of ways. We gather around the Word, but believe that scripture can be faithfully questioned. Sermons are spiritually and intellectually challenging. We charge ourselves weekly to go out into the world as agents of courage, compassion and grace. Join us as we work to create the Beloved Community.
Do you enjoy exploring various answers to thought-provoking questions? Come find nourishment for your souls at Midweek Manna in the Church Office Conference Room (2nd Street) at 8:30 AM on Wednesdays. Participants gather to pray and discuss the Scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday. The heart of this gathering is the dialogue where all are invited to bring their insights and ponderings.
